well my engine has decided to pack it in, cutting a long story short was racing at willowbank on saturday and on the 3rd runs clouds of smoke came out and compression tested the cylinders last night, and.....1-75, 2-145, 3-145, 4-145,

5-30, 6-145

The engine still ran but was noticeably down on response, turbo was abit dull in normal driving and the car idled abit lumpier and deeper. So thats my hassle at the moment

What's done is done though, i understand your pain - but you've got to look ahead. No miracle is going to fix that cylinder compression. When i break something, i look at replacing it with something better. You say you have limited funding? Grant this an excellent opportunity to learn mechnics and build your own car!

This might make you feel better about your situation:

But you know, don't take it to heart. Some people out there don't have somewhere to sleep or something to eat.

only 2? thats soft.

I just blew 3 cylinders the other week... 1-2-6

Just pull the car off the road, and rebuild it properly when you have money.

Best not to cut corners when making a motor.

I'll post up when my motor gets done, i've got a budget of 7k so we'll see how it goes and what i get out of it.
