I thought it was about normal for race pads; after all it costs less than a single semi slick :( racing aint cheap, even when you are trying to do it cheap.

I'd guess anyone that sells those kits could probably source the pads, but Just Jap might be the only ones who actually have them in stock.

I can afford the pads, but it seems a bit ridiculous that the ATTKD pads from China are MORE expensive then the big name brands like Ferodo etc.

Who else sells these kits?

Could always send gsl or motorsport brakes your pad shape and they will make you a pad that fits with whatever pad brand/material you like

I know project mu can do it

This is what I'd be doing. I've seen those chingchong calipers around a fair bit, so, getting some pads into market wouldn't be a bad thing.

umm the pads are the same as the AP 6 piston calipers so pads are readily available from most brands - they just aren't cheap!

^ exactly this.

It's not something custom to China... It's China copying everyone else (well, taiwan in this case) :D

Project Mu probably already have something on the shelf just like any other brand, no need to custom made this/that

The A1RM part number for the 330mm kit (which i believe uses the same pads as the 356 kit) is QDB 1933, which i guess is QFM using Bendix naming which would be DB 1933, and a bit of the googles gives;

HSV Aftermarket Up-grade, VE / VZ Series, AP 6 piston Caliper & Harrop 6 piston Caliper, Clubsport, Maloo, Senator, Grange, GTS & GTO - 06 on & 05-06 Front DB1933
