What do you guys think a 4 inch system in mild steel would be worth?

Cat back (decat built in if needed)

Cannon rear muffler

Resonator in the center

Proper bolted rubber mounts

Flanged rear section

It will be no means be a quiet exhaust system.

have been quoted 1500 for 4inch turbo back, incl cat, and gate plumb back.

I'd be saying 8-900????

Ill put stainless as an option.

There is too many variables so ill just put a minimum number of orders required.

So probably a minimum 5x 4 inch and 5x 3.5inch regardless of material for the group buy to be worth while doing special pricing.

There is nothing special about a varex system other than their mufflers which I personally think are average.

Sure they shut the exhaust up efficiently but that's all they are good for. Anyone looking for a 4inch system is doing so for maximum flow. I wouldn't put a hindrance muffler on it.

I couldn't agree more with your statement. but in some state/country ( maybe not the case in australia), cops will give you a ticket if your exhaust is straight throught or not. So by having this valve and a ''S'' BY-PASS VALVE of 1.5 inch, if you get pulled over, you simply close the valve, the cop can't accuse you of having a straight throught = no ticket.

So with this argument, you could have a 2.5 inch exhaust still be straight pipe and have a ticket, you can understand why I'm looking at the varex system-type of mod.

Okay so I had an idea... whats your thought?

You have a 2x70mm front pipe this equal to a 1x 100mm exit. What if I weld a ELECTRIC cutout just before the cat-delete so I keep my 3 inch cat-back but when I want that extra performance I open the valve and dump 1.5 inch before the cat making it fully flow-matched with the front pipe at minimal cost and still allow me to keep a low sound ( when not opening the valve)
