? All they do is lock the spider gears together resulting in 1:1 turning of inside/outside rear wheel regardless of going around a corner, as u can imagine as the outside wheel has to travel a greater distance around a corner this will result in the inner wheel skipping and spinning and generally complaining.... And in turn this puts alot of stress pressure on the axels.

In a drag car go for it, in a street car I think it's a pain in the arse but doable (be that illegally) in a drift car just get the old stick welder out and weld it up, you know cause it's cool to be dodgy in the "drift scene" lol.
