Lol I don't mind fuel stops. I won't make it past 250km lol

And in the past couple of ears of being with SAu Vic, I don't think we attract popo attention.

Guess we aren't baller enough(which is a good thing)

Probably. As I'm aware those permits are only served as a purpose to get the car to and from fixing and not for any other reason.

By all means you can sign up and bring another car! Lol but if u bring the GTR, than youre doing so at your own will

Yeah I guess I better not risk it. I think I'll hold off and sign up at the dyno day if that goes ahead.

wow 20-40 for some reason in my head I was thinking this was huge, like 100+ cars!! Im sure itll still be a tonne of fun. any police trouble in the past??

It has been 50+ in the past, depends on the day really.

As for Police - it's like the rain - don't talk/think/worry about it and it won't happen.

On the topic of fuel, with the price of 98 hitting $1.70 recently how does the cost of E85 compare? Does it move up in price with 98 or is it getting better and better to run E85?

e85 has gone up to $1.20 or $1.30 iirc

Also burns quicker so you get less out of your tank

IIRC an E85 Tune uses 30% more than PULP... so It would effectively be like $1.25 x 1.3 = $1.63/L, you'll get more power but you'll be filling up a lot more often and not all servo's (country, near tracks, etc) have it.

The perfect way to ruin a good day..............besides running out of fuel in the middle of the great ocean road....

The police do monitor the GOR, but on our SAU Vic cruises down there, we've never had trouble with them. Never had a bunch of cars pulled over for defecting/hassling. In the time I've driven it, I've only seen one fellow get in trouble...but he didn't slow down for the 60 zone upon entering a town and got pulled over by himself. That's the advantage of being on an SAU Vic cruise...the police tend not to hassle us because we do things properly with CAMS permits and have zero tolerance for bullshit behaviour. So you all have nothing to worry about, just make sure you double check the speedo going through the local towns, cause they do monitor them!

Best are the roads back via the Otways! Have a good trip if I don't make it!
