Nsw: Honda Integra Dc2 Type-R Trade For Turbo Car.

Hey guys,

So basically im looking to trade my awsome little red integra dc2 type r for a turbo car.

I havent owned this type r for too long but in the time i have, i have maintained it to the best,

with only the best products and kept it spotless. Its always garaged, cleaned once a week and polished and detailed by myself using only the best as i work at repco and get my stuff cheap

I service it regularly with the best oil for it (penrite) and filters (K&N)

Mods done to the car are as follows:

Injen cold air

XForce twin loop exhaust

JVC DVD Head unit

Apexi FC Commander controller (tuned already)

Fully wired up for a full sound system with 0 gauge wire, really thick and powerfull wires.

Lowered on ultra low king springs

Black stock type r wheels

Plus other little stuff i cannot remember

It really is a spotless car and has to be seen in person. I would like to trade for a turbo as i am going off my green P's and can drive a turbo

yeh they get 15 for it haha, this isnt a 25g car that u can put up for 30 and get close to 25.

u put it for 16 u expect to get 15. but anyways

A car sells for what someone is willing to pay. I seem lots of type R's fetch for 16 and more depending on condition. It seems your always telling people how to sell cars and how to run there ad by uploading pics. Doesn't seem that your interested in any of the cars for sale. It's best you just don't tell people what to do.

Fairly stock Integras actually don't command 16k.

My mate sold a genuine "personal import" JDM Integra Type R with 172.2fwkw (yes, it was built) for 16k which was in absolutely immaculate condition. So getting 16k for a fairly stock ADM Integra is a bit of wishful thinking.

No offense dude but you can get one running for that my h with nice mods and a standard one for cheaper of course. Good luck with your sale though.

You make a good point with the shell being rust free, but regardless it's a blown engine worth nothing which you can keep. And you won't find anyone paying 16k for a rolling shell and as much as your negotiable, I'd be guessing a thousand bux if that is all you'll negotiate. I know you just want to try make most the money you paid back but there was an immac rolling shell r33 GTR registrable sell for like 5k which was just missing running gear. I'm just being realistic with you.

We all know its a hard market at the moment just because I asked a question doesnt mean someone should personally attack me when they're doing the same thing that they are accusing me of doing.

As for the pictures. Sometimes people post up half written ads or aren't sure on how to post up pics. I think it was once the person put up an add and I simply just said that if he could upload pictures it would benefit his add and sale in general greatly. How about you mind your own business and not tell other people what to post and what not to do?

All i wanted was to trade for something that is same value as it in regards to prices i see on carsales which is 90% of for sale cars other than dealerships which we all know over do it by thousands so they can bargain. If u can find one not smashed and repaired or damaged for cheaper price run at it asap and buy it.

Trying to sell a car with a blown motor for a price of a complete car is much different to trying to sell an integra in good condition for around there fetching prices. At the end of the day you got desperate people that you can crunch a lot and you got the staunch ones that won't drop a cent. Some people get lucky with bargains and some don't.

Your friend got lucky with his cause my friend did too as he bought a type R for $13,500 from $17,000 with 90,xxx km with books 4yrs ago. Considering that was a bargain back then too as they are cheaper now.

You can't be jumping down my throat mate. You know yourself sometimes you grab bargains as the seller could be desperate etc.

Anyway not here to argue, just felt bad for the bloke being told what to do trying to sell a good car. By all means slap him if he was selling a rolling shell for that much.

Also I just thought I'd give the Gtr guy a bit of advice considering me and you both know the price he had for pretty muxh a rolling shell is a joke. I've seen several threads where your just telling people what to do. Doesn't matter anyway, you do what you wanna do buddy.
