hey all,

has anyone bought from this site: Carcraze.com.au ?

Looking for some wheel nuts and came across this, they are WAY too cheap to be legit, my radar is going off but then again if this is a reputable site...

http://carcraze.com.au/copy-of-rays-engineering-wheel-lug-dura-nuts-red/

so. anyone know?

or anyone got a set of red ones =D

hmmmm, seems a little "too good to be true".

general rule of thumb, if it seems too good, it probably is.

i dont like the contact info being a mobile number and "based in sydney".

but, if it does work out, i want a set of long ones.

also, could just be copies?

I once bought a set - copies they are.

Very hard to tell the difference between these and the real mccoys.

The cardboard header is different, as is the quality of the socket which doesn't have the code # stamped on it. Other than that, the nuts themselves look real.

The owners a member on aus300zx.com, plenty of guys there have bought from him.

But yeah they're definately fakes. If your after some quality nuts check out the Mcgard splinedrives, forged steel & a decent theft deterrent. They supply to work, bbs, etc. Can be had pretty cheap off amazon.com

excellent, thanks guys. will not be buying fakes, rather the real deal or something else.

thanks Tim I will have a look at the Mcgards, i've read about them before. I just want red ones! cheers.
