Nsw And Vic Time Attack Event

Is anyone planning on entering the Victorian time attack event over Easter at Winton or the NSW ones at the middle of the year.

They have speedweek covering it as well as apparently some large sponsors, regs seem pretty good.

I'm planning on entering the Vic event if my cars up to scratch by then.

I was thinking of entering too, will be a rush to get ready but super keen.

Same, hopefully I can smash out a bunch of work on the car over the next 2 weeks to have it ready.

My girlfriends parents live in Benalla so i just stay there other wise there are a few motels in Benalla which are about 5km away from the track.

Looks like we know where hankook have thrown there sponsership behind now after being excluded from WTA

The ronkes (benalla car club, winton and Wakefield owners) locked down hankook easily they reckon.

Would have entered the NSW event but will be in Europe at that time. Bugger!

Just had a look at the regs last night and it would cost me $450 to enter since my car isn't registered.

Yeah I had a good look over the Regs as well... They are quite interesting lol, but then it's first year, always going to need work

Sold my cars 9 months ago to kick off a restaurant

Couple of years I'll get back into it and probably look to building a dedicated car (trailer/no reg). Just ensuring I keep up to date with various events/classes/regs as they evolve, I've been keen to see what the Ronke's series would do when it was announced last year

Hopefully the series has enough entrants and turns out to be a success. I've already got 3-4 mates planning on entering.

I will be going to watch, Not racing car will not be finished.

I think it is stupid what happen with hancook at WTA, Also stupid that the one branded tyre must be used. but maybe im biased but the guys from hancook helped me out at WTAC for about 45min where as advan guys did not even want to know me.

So my money went to hancook

If car performs well at phillip island testing this 6 march, then we will be entering the bc automotive gtr, we may not have the aero completed in time but should be fine as is. Any recommendations to best r spec tyres?
