my point being, the more rules there are the harder it is to judge this stuff.....especially with novice comps.

It's hard enough to judge when everyone is in one place, let alone sending in videos etc.

The simpler the better, and the more people will do it, and the more fun it will be, because these after all are only about fun.

But hey, your challenge your rules

You make a good point. Maybe the next challenge can try and embody this more.

I think Simon is right, hence why were on the second page and no one has posted a vid yet

Good challenge by the way

Note: No way of telling if someone has used chalk, plus chalk is for safety, I make sure all my clients use it.

No one really special at PTC at these, Jesse (68kg) and Bender (68kg) have done 30, Martin would be close

Nina has done 16

We always do our chins this way, if hands were turned around no one here would get 10, we all find this way much, much easier

Video is the only way we'll know! Deadlifting is one thing with no vids, but it's very easy to inadvertently cheat / screw up the form with pull ups, so vids are a must.

Will take a vid this week :)

No doubt.

I'll get a video but wanted to try it first! Its a lot harder when having to think about ensuring going all the way down, not pausing blah blah blah. Just read the rules again... "each rep is to come to a complete stop at the bottom"...hhmmmm gotta check that one....

Yeah, makes a huge difference! When I do pullups, which is rare...I do them with the pause at the bottom and I'm wrecked much quicker than on bodyweight lat pulldown, where I rarely let my arms go straight.

No. Try taking more suppliments.

lol'd

GNC Pull Up Xtend should help with this challenge...from what I read on the internet, it's designed to specifically target the lateral muscles.

    • End game is to: - Remove all the slop from old worn parts - Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).   Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs! Next steps: - Buy bushings - Replace bushings/bearings on hub - Reinstall

    • A few random issues have popped up since my last update. My WMI pressure sensor failed within about 10 minutes of it seeing liquid. It was a 20$ China special, so I'm not surprised. My name brand replacement should arrive today.  My power steering assist also decided to crap out last weekend. The usual, works for about 60 seconds after starting the car then I lose it. I dusted off my old copy of NDS and connected to the HICAS ECU. Code 4 for assist solenoid.... I tested the solenoid and it's fine.  I knew the day where my HICAS ecu would crap out would come, and I welcome it. It was the last HICAS part on the car that is now in the bin. I've ordered an SSR and I will control the power steering solenoid with my Haltech ecu. It will be nice to have proper speed referenced assist again after all these years.
    • Haha I just finished the last season of TPB: Jail last month. I'm happy they're still pumping out episodes.
