Spark Plugs For Rb20!

just chasing peoples opinions on plugs for my 20! 16psi high flowed rb25 turbo full exhaust front mount n other stuff standard internals running on 98 octane on a niss tune ecu... cheers in advance

I've always just used standard NGK copper plugs and just changed them every 5000km. General thoughts are that platniums or more expensive plugs aren't usually worth it.

bcpr7es are the plugs i was reccomended sound about right?

yeah that or a lot of people (including myself) use bcpr6es. im not the fountain of knowledge on what heat range is better, depends on usage i guess.

and as with any modified engine, just stick with coppers. platinums etc are a waste of money because modified engines chew through plugs regardless what type they are so you might as well buy the cheapies.

Standard heat range is 6. You would want at least a 7, maybe even an 8.

I run for denso plugs, 65 bucks a set, platinum I think they are. Is in a 25 though. AGSP22YE09. Suit ba/bf xr6/t.

My tuner loves them, and that price, not bad!

Spot on ^^^ dont bother wasting ur money on platnium, just get the ngk ones, and just check the gap is 0.8, they come like that but doesnt hurt to double check. For ur setup the ngk one are fine.
