I look forward to your work.

Isn't it funny how when you look at a woman's face, it can look like a million dollars. I like just that single face - and then captured with "that look".

Megan always looked to me like a million dollars. I don't like putting her next to Jennifer who looks like a million dollars > Megan then looks like $990,000.

Thought I'd make the most of the beautiful Queensland weather we are having at the moment to get off my ass and go take some photos

Needed another dark filter or two to make this work how I wanted:

Got lucky and appeared at the right place at the right time. This one is pretty much as shot:

Thanks Dan, this was actually my first attempt at panning in ages! I can't even remember the last time I tried one - maybe the drifting after WTAC 2011???

I also shot this the same night:

BTW, love that shot you posted too - great framing, smooth bokeh and great, even lighting. Nice looking girl too!

Thanks man. The whole shoot lasted 5 mins. It was super windy and it wasn't easy keeping the camera still. Got the pic I wanted and we drove off

did you use an ND filter for this?

Yeah used an ND and polorasing filter to try and bring the brightness down to take a longer exposure. Would have been nicer if I could have made the exposure longer then I did but just wanted to have a go. Want to go do a night/twighlight shot one day. will see how i go :)

I'll pay that. Both technically correct and a quality comment.

What I did mean was: what was the propellant? What did you use to move it around? IE: rag on a stick...

Why are you LOL'ing for?

a magician, his secrets, etc etc

I would also like to know though

Your on the right track, I'm keeping the details quiet for a while though, til I use it for a print shoot at least. I've been experimenting with fire for the best part of a year now, I want all that time wasted to have some impact before everyone starts doing the same shit and it gets old.

    • We have 2x Swifts and my plans for a Swift, unfortunately, do not extend to an intake and an exhaust. I've been having dirty thoughts about a 2.5L Suzi V6, AWD gearbag out of a suitable donor, rear floorpan graft to take the rear cradle from same, and either trumpets of evil or a small supercharger. If I'm going to make noise in a Swift, I want it to be anti-social, evil handling and rough. Probably need to be fully stripped inside, matt black paint, plastic windows, 7" wide wheels, big brakes, silly suspension, etc etc etc. I have no idea if any of the proposed driveline components could take the pain. But it would be a hoot finding out.
    • Really, anyone modifying a car isn't being financially smart. We're doing it for the things we love. And honestly, a high revving, light, NA car is actually pretty darn fun. I used to have a Swift Sport, and I miss that thing as a daily, and yes, doing something like some intake and exhaust stuff would have made minimal gains, but would have bought an even bigger smile
