Besides the fact that it's not designed for automotive, could I still use it? are there any long term consequinces?

Did a test patch on the fuel door and works mint. have been using it to polish a variety of non metalic surfaces and works great.

The abrasives used in Silvo are...

1) Kaolinites (which from my chemist days, say they're clay particles)

2) Quartz particles (which are harder, and have corners in their crystalline structure)

Other ingredients are solvents which I cannot see as being harmful to paint, but will strip off wax and sealant.

Your call Ricky as I'd regard #2 as being a cutting compound..
