Up for sale is my 1999 nissan stagea 260rs [genuine autech version]

I have owned it for two going on three years now and think its time to move on. Since owning it I have resprayed it sliver [standard colour] just to neaten it up as when I got it their was a few scratches and dent here and their. I have also spent a fair bit on it to get it where I wanted it.

The engine has been fully rebuilt with the following done:

-valve service cylinder head

-machine tappet shims to specs

-260 tomei poncam camsharfts

-JE forged pistons

-bore and hone

-h series bearings

-all hoses were replaced

-nitto metal head gasket

-nitto intake gasket

-nitto exhaust gasket

-apr head stud kit

-new standared thermostat and gaskit

-all fan belts

-35r garret turbo and waste gate [plumbed back]

-turbo benni

-custom exhaust manifold

-200 cell high flow cat

-custom 4inch exhaust with 2xmagna flow mufflers to keep it legal

-hdi intercooler [i think cant remember]

-1000cc injectors [not sure of brand]

-walbro 400lph intank fuel pump

-adjustable cam gears

-hdi electronic boost controller type r

-evo boost gauge

-2xdrift pod filters

-hks induction pipe kit

-clear timing belt cover

-new timing belt

-nistune ecu

-jjr oil catch can [return feed so you don’t have to empty]

-hcb heavy duty clutch

-clutch assy cylinder + hose

-power steer rack was pulled out and serviced because of leak

-smoked side indicators

-19inch prodrive seven spoke grey rims [little bit of gutter rush from previous owner]

-head light eyebrows [keeps the lights from going yellow]

-some sort of immobilizer [not sure of the brand came with the car]

The car made 339.4kw @ all 4 wheels but I was only running bp95 and an air flow meter was playing up,since then I have replaced an air flow meter but just haven’t had time to get it retuned!

The engine has been built to handle over 450kw and can be achieved by upgrading to spitfire coil packs with a retune a new ecu may be needed depending on how much more power you want.

The car is immaculate inside and out apart from the front and rear bars which will be resprayed due to them having some scratches

I have also put new bridgestone 245/40/19 tyers all round

The car gets serviced EVERY 5,000kms religiously!

Rego 20th September 2013

Alot of time effort and money has gone into this car for you to enjoy!

I have all receipts and dyno sheets

The car has just clicked over 100,000kms

The engine has done 5,000kms

Im asking 27,000 which I think is a fair price

NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE

and have also purchased a plastic dayz front bar which was also sprayed and fitted to the car to replace as the autech front bar as it is fiberglass.

I still have the autech front bar wrapped up in mint condition to be sold with the car. I have also put 22mm spacers back and front [wheels] to give the car a better look

the car now has 113,xxxkms on it reason for selling is I have bought a motor bike as a daily so the car just sits in the garage under a cover most of the time now

price $27,000

    • The interesting part of tests like IM240 is they measure the exhaust output. But they never measure the gases going into the engine... Imagine doing the test in a densely populated city with higher CO2 levels around... Instant disadvantage...
    • I have two German Shepherds that like to bite things that are in places they shouldn't be. Plus the cars/batteries on chargers are inside a locked garage, inside that fully fenced and locked yard. If you can get the car out, you can have it, as I'll be having one hell of a laugh at your expense.
    • Looks like they changed the wording in the manual for the new model. I have a different model. Mine is CC1206. Not CC1206-XLI. Mine doesn't support lithium at all. I can't find the manual for my model online and they don't list the model on the Century website anymore either. In my manual it says what I quoted and that they recommend to not leave it on 🤷‍♂️ Sounds like you'd be fine with this one now.
    • Thanks for actually answering every single point! I noticed the date only after posting. And yes, looks like things have changed a little bit since then. FWIW, looks like Government Gazette No 253 has the current emissions test procedure. Sounds pretty reasonable altogether. One thing I learned from this is that it's possible to check whether a catalyst does any work by measuring the temperature. Catalyst outlet temp is at least 40°C higher than inlet temps if there is a reaction happening. I'd be curious to check this on mine but don't have a thermometer. Because purely going by smell it can't be doing much. Personally I'd be okay to pay for the test as long as it's within reason. My main concern would be to lose my rego because it definitely wouldn't pass the test in its current state. I'll see if I can do a bit more digging and see what's involved in doing this nowadays.   To be fair I don't think it's stopping many people from doing the modifications anyway. It just puts a barrier up to doing things right
    • Uhhh if anyone sees this - I bought a BRZ years ago, on my fulls soon so back on the market for the R34!
