"Donation Star" in Private Messages

When I am in my Private Messages I see this spinning yellow star which says I have donated (which is correct). Is this the only place it comes up as I have never seen it on the forums?

in your control panel / user prefs have you turned off avatars or something :confused:

All I see normally is the Username, then their comment thingo + [avatar] + and then their details - eg. Name/Location/Car etc. Except when I'm reading a private message sent by me, then I see a star as well.

Judging by what others are saying it appears I'm not alone.
