Skyline Rental In Queenstown ?

Hey Guys,

Im in Queenstown NZ for a holiday & im wondering if anyone knows if there is a company around that rents a Skyline or a brave forum member that will let me hire their car for about 24 hours.

Obviously a company is preferred but if a member has a nice powered skyline and is willing to let me hire it for 24 hours that would be great.

Any help would be appreciated with the below info:

Approx price?

Approx insurance cost?

Location?

Is my NSW license sufficient for use in NZ?

Something to note:

Im male

27 years old

Perfect driving record (no suspensions or restrictions on my full NSW License)

I will be in NZ until Friday 15th Feb 2013.

I have posted in NZ section already. I was hoping a NSW member has hired a GTR or other high performance nissan in NZ and could offer advise or point me in a correct direction.

I sold my skyline a few years back when I bought my house.

Since im on holiday I could justify renting a car to my wife and if it were a GTR then it would be a big plus.

I have hunted around Queenstown and no rental car company has a GTR so I turned to the forums in an attempt to drive my favourite car in one of the most scenic places with great roads.

That's why I want to rent a GTR for a day here in Queenstown.

Sounds fair I don't lol your chances though I couldn't imagine renting my Gtr out unless it was for maybe 2 k or something plus a damage contract or something

Damage contract is expected. $2k may be a little steep.

Unfortunately no GTRs available in the South Island but a few offers from the north for around the $500 - $750 NZ$ for 24 hour.

chances of renting a VR4 or Legnum? 4WD twin turbo 6 cylinder... probably easier to hire than a GT-R
