On another note, anyone got any mouse recommendations? Have had a deathadder for my last 3 mice and they are an awesome mouse while they last, fits my meaty right hand nicely. This one is starting to play up after about 2 years so am thinking its time for a change.

Bf3 is fun, some of the big battles are insane. The AC130 is heaps of fun, but the choppers and jets take a bit of flying.

Coming from cod4 the ground battle is fairly different.

So....been playing CoH and Batman Arkham city recently.

CoH2 campaign is a little disappointing so far, but from what I remember the original wasn't anything spectacular either. Gameplay seems to be a little more smooth, in that tanks have a reverse function and character tracking is little more intuitive. As with all these game I enjoy the tanks/units the most and these are fair enjoyable.

Batman: was highly recommended from a console loving mate (along with 99% of the internet). Pretty fun so far but really is a console game; the port to PC is pretty shoddy.

I'm playing Payday 2 at the moment and its a lot of fun. Hasnt got the polish or AI to stand against something like L4D2 but the premise and FPS stuff is all top notch.

This game is not designed for singleplayer though

Bought Euro truck simulator 2 on special for like $13 on steam. Its surprisingly kind of fun and satisfying. using a G27 wheel.
