Anyone Using HKS2510's on there GTR ?

My engine is almost finished and just wondering if anyone has used or has these turbo's on there rb26dett.

I know there small and will probably lack in the top end but i want to use this car for motorkhana's track days etc etc. Also it will only be pushing rear wheel drive so power will have to be limited anyway.

Just looking for comments etc etc on these turbo's ..

Simon, I seem to remeber a couple of guys over east running these with power levels not much lower than 2530's... Remember they are only rated 20hp each lower than 30's so that's still 600hp turbos.....

Try gtr.co.uk as I'm sure some ofthe guys over there are running 2510's and are very happy with them...

If theyre rated around the 600hp mark then they sound much like some of the N1 turbos. They flow basically the same amount, about 20hp shy of the 2530s. 2510s will wind up quicker I'd imagine though. Either way theyd make more than enough power.

I think there only rated at 20PS less than 2530's so should still do good hp.

The only difference i can see is the smaller rear wheel in the exhaust housing. But hopefully the increased spool up time will make up for the lack of top end. If any.

I think you may be better off looking at the GT-SS turbos

i used have hks GT2510 on my GTR,they works very good,hit on full boost around 4000RPM,

i think R34GTR N1 turbo are very good to use too,

Thats ok. If i can get to 400 with that sorta boost i'll be happy.
