Hey Guys,

Just (half) installed a Mongoose M20S alarm into my R33, I have installed an aftermarket Actuator in the door but can't get it to fire with the alarm unit.

The wiring on the Actuator is:

Black = Common
Brown = Normally Open
White = Normally Closed
Blue = M (What is M?)
Green = M

On the Mongoose I have this as the central locking relay:

Any idea which wire goes into which? I have been told you only use Blue and Green and the others get grounded? I tried that and it didn't fire, I also left blue and green as is and plugged Purple (alarm) into the Brown wire of the actuator, still nothing.

What do you guys think?

Cheers,
Borci88.

Chris I'll have a look when I get home cheers!

Daniel, I assumed that the alarm system power also had enough power for the central locking? Maybe not? The orange wire is looped back into the unit by the way, doesn't actually have an end to go anywhere.

So in that case just purple into 12V?

Hi mate,

Yes the alarm was 2x on board relays which are enough to power 1x motor. The purple and orange are also fused that is why they should go to power.

Glad it works.
