meh stick an ikea formula sequential shifter and you've got a pretty cool track gearbox from a stock item.

No bloody parts easily available.

Dropped it off last night and was told "we may not be able to repair the parts so you are probably looking at 4-6 weeks for some strengthened parts out of Japan"

I tell ya right now if the dumb things breaks again Im getting a Pftizner dog-ring set.

Gary - I got a quote from Holinger last week - $18,000 (would be the same box for you)

IMO - the better option would be to get a replacement gear-set from Pfitzner. These are about $9,000. Speak to Gerald about them - he is getting a set for his R32.

Have just finally had some good news in that it seems the R34 gearbox IS the same as the Supra 6 speed and that gear-sets are readily available from Toyota.

however I do know of a Trust 6 speed for sale...if you are interested. Great for track work, not drag.

so are you gonna rebuild your gearbox with toyota spares? Why not just contact Nissan Japan since R34 GTR gearboxes are still made as spares in japan?
