Replacement Shock Absorbers

Hi,

My car has Apexi lowered springs on what looks like standardish shocks.

could do with a refresh.

It is a street car, won't see a track.

any recommendations?

can you buy shorter shocks or do you just buy standard height ones and fit the lower springs on them.

Not after brand new coilovers.

Just want to replace my shocks.

cheap and decent please..

where to things like pedders/koni/gab/munro type brands fit in the scheme of things?

Bilstein and Koni are the best. KYB is next. Pedders and Munroe are pretty much a waste of time.

You can get Bilsteins locally, probably a lot cheaper than above. They come with a couple of grooves and circlips so you can set the ride height.

Any decent suspension place should be able to get any of the Bilstein / Koni / KYB units for you.

i reckon your best or cheapest option is buying them from nissan, they order them in and you get them for about 200 ea i think it was.
