Boot Latch Problem

anybody know how to fix this? lol! I have tried locking and unlocking the car with the remote while I pry at the mechanism with a screw driver but not good! I have a 400km trip tomorrow so any help would be awesome!

Maybe pull on it with the screwdriver and get someone to pull the lever?

there is no lever its electronic so i have essentially been doing that myself with the remote

Are you saying that above the number plate under the plastic horizontal piece there is no lever ?

I just did what you have done (pushed latch in) and can pull on the latch with screwdriver as suggested and pull lever.

So you can't open your boot if your remote fails ? Battery dead etc ?

that looks rusty. SOAK it in wd 40 and repeat process.

I think it's just the lighting; looks like the cad plating to me. Not rust.
