General rule,

If you cant get at least 8cm dish at the back it looks shit so dont bother and get something full face/concave eg your 9+12 stuff

On these cars you can easily fit something massive out back so they can pull off dish...

New rims for min on the way have 13cm :D

Personally for me I like concave over deep dish. It really depends on your wallet, if your budget is >$3-4k then definitely concave, otherwise deep dish. You can get both if you're willing to spend $6k or more. I really wish I could have a set of DPE Super Concave wheels like these. *drools*

I personally prefer concave (and hence I have Stance 5ive rims)

I think the photos above are "unfair" as a lowered car with big wide rims & extremely stretched tires, really set off concave rims. But again, that's just a personal view again.

If your not planning on dragging your exhaust all around town (ie not planning on lowering it), I think you should really be looking at examples that match your plans.

From my personal experience (ie mistake), you should pay close attention to the rim offsets; if you want to avoid adding spacers.

One thing which may sway you if your on the fence, is brake dust. I previously had (a small) polished dish, and after a short drive, the rims were covered in brake dust. My new (slightly) concave rims (with a black dish behind the spokes) really "hide" or not collect the brake dust.

I love both dish and deep concave wheels, but my i'm really loving concave atm.

my current wheels atm are Rohana RC10 20x11 +10 Front & Rear

these are also For Sale if anybody is interested.

    • Ayooo, been a while mates. I have a s2 r33 gtst and air stopped coming out of all the top vents.   My car has always made an actuator gear noise when turning the car on but that's a different issue I think? Did searches and am at process of thinking it's an actuator or some type of motor? I see a few different actuators and don't know which one. Would be nice to know if it was the one that's under the steering wheel so the dash doesn't need to come out.
    • Hi, just checking. Did you get this stuff made by Vspec Performance and at what price roughly? Looking into (sometime later) also getting such a intake kit, and Trust as well as HKS don't make a full set like this anymore.
