Re-chroming the lettering on the rear garnish, just wondering if anyone here has had this done..?

When I bought my S1 R33 the rear garnish where its says 'Skyline' looked like it may have been touched up with a can of cheap silver paint. Since then I have polished off the silver paint to leave clear lettering. Its not the worst look in the world with the clear letters but for how it stood out even with just the silver paint I think the chrome would make it jump out instead.

Now back to my question :P Has anyone had this done, and more so if it was done in Melbourne and where..? I'm going to do a bit of a ring around some places and see what they have to say and I'll post their thoughts here but would be great to hear some feedback of people that might have already look into getting it done.

Thanks,

Tony

hey mate I just repainted it with silver paint, came up pretty good if you ask me :)

The way I did it was use electrical tape across the whole garnish

then you would cut out skyline with a stanley knife and spray paint it (make sure you use a nice thick last coat of clear to give it the shiny effect)
