Carmate R33 Trust Style Front Bar

Hey guys i just got my Trust style front bar from carmate.com and my panel beater is trying to tell me it dosnt fit , has any one else had problems with this front bar before. Below is a pic of the bar (not on my car of corse)

Does he mean it needs to be modified to fit? Or doesn't fit at all?

Anything can be made "to fit!" Carmate stuff usually don't fit that good not to say they're quality is bad - as a matter of fact, I quite like their quality from what I have seen so far, but, to make most of their front bars fit, you must modify the sides of the bar so that it latches onto the rego probably - a lot of fabrication is required so the panel beater can do this it's just a matter of whether he wants to or not as he won't make much more cash for doing all this custom work. You need to tell him that you are prepared to pay extra for labour. Good luck.
