Importing Agents

Hi everyone!

I am thinking of importing a v36 myself to New Zealand and has been looking around for import agents. My search has led me to a couple of local agents as well as 1 which seems pretty reputable in Australia called J-Spec Imports.

I have been talking with J-Spec for a few weeks now and their response and communications seems top notch and it would appear to me that they seems to know their stuff giving me pretty good information on the v36 in terms of options and pricing to meet with my budget.

I am just doing my "due dilligence" now on these agents and thought I will just ask if anyone has dealt with J-Spec and if anyone has any issues with them?

The Auckland based agents that I am looking at currently are JCC Cars and Shore Vehicle Solutions. Both again looks pretty established and feedbacks from customers in their webpage looks good (which is why I guess they are there in the first place). If there are any NZ based members here, will be good if you can update if you have had any dealings with them and what's your experience.

Any feedbacks will be most appreciated!

don't have much to add in the way of specific information from you but: i never trust good reviews about a company ON THEIR WEBPAGE.

Haven't noticed anything about J-spec that I can recall.

Iron Chef Imports has a great rap on this forum and whenever I've spoken to them, they seem really knowledgable.

yeah Iron Chef will look after you, don't seem why there'd be an issue deliverying to NZ either.

Thanks Sean! I have sent an email to Iron Chef now so let's see what they says.... meanwhile I will just continue to work on researching the other agents on my list especially the local ones. Any Kiwis on the forum, do give me an update if you have dealt with any of the local agents before. Thanks!

Just send an educated email to him, asking what you want and how to go about it and you'll get all the information you need.
