GTR for sale.

512rwhp @22psi, 475rwhp @17psi.

Crank HP will easily be over 600, awesome for twin low mounts.

The car is a 1993. A private import in around 2002.

I purchased the car in 2004, I kept a spread sheet with money spent on the car but I stopped updating that when it reached $80K!

The engine is fresh and is tuned by Scott at Insight.

I have just fitted a new CAS as Scott was not happy with the last one.

When I rebuild the engine I also made a number of other changes, they are listed below with the parts used in the rebuild.

Engine details

Recent engine rebuild:

- R33 bottom end.

- Eagle rods and JE pistons.

- Performance metalcraft sump extension.

- JUN oil baffle extended.

- Nitto oil pump.

- ARP head studs.

- Genuine Nissan gasket set.

- Gates racing timing belt kit.

- ACL bearings.

- Nismo engine mounts.

- Nismo transmission mounts.

- ATI harmonic balancer.

- Nitto valve guides.

- Aux oil drain from back of head to sump.

- Rebuild turbos.

- New wastegate actuators.

- Ceramic coated manifolds and dump pipes.

- Nissan geuine CAS.

- HKS fuel pressure regulator

- HKS duel feed fuel rail.

- Nismo fuel pump.

- Greedy hard pipe intake kit.

- BMC pod filters

- HKS inlet manifold gaskets.

- Koyo Alloy radiator.

- Davis Craig thermo fans (not currently fitted)

Parts reused from the old motor that were still good.

- Mines cam baffles.

- Sard 700cc injectors.

- Tomei cams

- HKS 2530 turbos (rebuild by Precision)

- Split fire coils.

- HKS super sequential BOV’s

- HKS oil cooler and remote filter (huge)

- Apexi drag intercooler (huge also)

Some other notes about the engine.

- The computer is a VipecV88 running a map sensor.

- The battery has been relocated to the boot and a custom catch can is where the battery was.

- The catchcan is plumbed back into the intake.

- The HKS BOV’s are plumbed back too.

- Innovate LC-1 wideband with guage in space of factor boost guage.

- Blitz dual solenoid boost controller.

- Power steering cooler.

Chassis details

Gearbox was rebuild by Terry at Award diff when the engine was being rebuilt, he earlier rebuild the rear diff.

Clutch is OS Giken STR twin plate. Fantastic clutch, easy to drive and also holds the power.

Suspension is MCA/Proflex custom with remote canisters. Fully adjustable. Amazing shocks, MCA was in the Targa winning White GTR and also in the world time attack cars.

A Ruzic 4wd controller is fitted, sits in the glovebox.

The HICAS has been removed including all the pump and lines. The rear stage of the power steering pump which feeds the HICAS has been rerouted to a cooler.

Both prop shafts have had been overhauled.

Front lip is new and genuine Nissan.

New clutch master cylinder.

Custom adjustable front upper arms, good for about 4deg negative static camber.

Nismo chassis bracing, one under car and one in the boot.

R33 wheels painted R32 grey with Advan V103 255/40/17. Tyres are good. Fronts are 90% left, rears about 50%.

Race R33 wheels also painted R32 grey with Toyo R888, 90% left.

AP 4pot front calipers.

DBA 5000 front rotors with alloy hats.

Custom 6mm T6 alloy undertray to protect the intercooler and sump.

Whiteline swaybars.

Noltec rear bushes all round including the rear subframe.

Interior details

Interior is very good.

A Cusco 6point bolt in cage is fitted.

Seats are Bride LowMax Carbon with reclining.

Seat rails are Bride super low.

When I fitted the cage my helmet would hit. I didn’t want lots of padding on the cage so I spend the money on the seats and rails.

Sparco steering wheel.

Pioneer touch screen system with good speakers, amp and subwoofer.

Price

I would like to sell the car as a complete going concern. I built this car to be the ultimate street/trace GTR and I don’t want to mess about pulling stuff off etc. So both sets of wheels are included.

My old spreadsheet was upto $80K before I stopped updating it, plus the $12K on the engine parts and $3K for the seats I have no doubt I have spent over 100K on this car. I will be happy with $30K.

The track wheels, track rubber, cage and seats should be good for $5K, so $25 for the car is a bargin.

Please SMS me your interest and i will call you back 0412 697 308 or email [email protected]

Nice car mate glws they are easy to sink money into must suck loosing that much though lucky buyer who ever buys it, I'm going through the sinking money stage now but not 80 k or at least I hope not lol

My preference is to sell the car as a complete package but will offer it in 4 different configurations:

1. Complete package as listed above. $30000.

2. As listed above but without the 2nd set of wheels with almost new Toyo R888. $28000.

3. As listed above but without the 2nd set of wheels and without the cage. $27500.

4. As listed above but without the 2nd set of wheels and without the cage and with stock seats. $27000.

I will have to source the seats for the 4th configuration. So I cant be sure of their quality will match the rest of the car.

    • Hey guys. I have a 400R on its way to Australia from Japan currently and have a few questions I’m hoping others may be able to help with.   Wondering if anyone here has had any luck getting the Sat nav unit to work in Australia!? Assuming the Stereo is as simple as a band expanded and tv won’t work?  Seeing as they’re based off a Q50 which is Aus delivered is there any way to link that system to the nav? Nav modules and head unit are different part numbers and appear slightly different at the rear with plug ins etc. can I put my xtrail sd card into the rv37 and will that convert the maps or update to Australian? Has anyone got any advice here?     also has anyone fitted the factory remote start and Security system once it’s landed in Australia? I put an enquirey to Nissan Japan in via a third party, and they suggested it needs a Nissan Japan dealers device to setup and couldn’t guarantee if one here could do it or not. They can supply and I can physically fit it but to setup I would need a dealers device. Any information here would be appreciated also. I’ve seen one here with it fitted already prior to leaving Japan at a dealer/inporter, so clearly passes compliance and works when fitted Japan and doesn’t need changing here.      also, does the tyre inflation sensors work here? Does anything change with them when the vehicle arrives? Where are they actually situated? I’ve read they have batteries and they need to changing at times and seems like resetting involves the nav system?    any help here would be appreciated and any other aust specific information to help would be great. Looking forward to see what the current generation skyline is like and eager to see how many of the gadgets can be utilised here.  Thanks in advance
    • Do need to take it with a pinch of salt. One of the adapter failures, they clearly had setup issues with the flywheel.  One of the slipping ones I spoke to and it was pretty clear the throwout was riding, rather than fix, just swapped to a new clutch.    These clutches are being put in anything from 5k offroad 4x4 beaters, GR yaris, 500hp commodores to 1200hp barra monsters. Bound to be some issues in some of them when they are not a simple bolt in affair due to the changes in height.    There is a lot going on in this picture and unless I did the job myself no way to tell what really happened.
    • I did this mod in 2019  You just have to modify the top bracket of the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU so it sits more upright and closer to the back seat and run a good quality positive battery lead from the engine bay, the negative lead i just bolted down to the body in the boot.
    • Damn... Not the feedback I want to hear.
