Pulling Error Codes From R33 Gtr?

I used to do a simple paperclip bridging of two diagnostic plug pins on a 1JZ. Can this be done for the consult plug in an RB26??

I have had running problems for a while now, and it chucked up the engine light but has gone away. I would like to know what codes are stored in there so I can work out what it was that happened. I have had no luck with ConZult software.
