I bought a set of ID2000's for my GTR, but seem to be having a bit of a drama with fitting them... The inner diameter (side that slots into manifold) seems too large at 13mm to actually fit. What size are they meant to be?

Am i missing some type of adaptor that reduces the 13mm injector body to something like an 11mm tip to slot into manifold, or have i been supplied the wrong injectors??

Anyone that confirm the above 100%?

My plenum looks as though it may have some type of sleeve in the opening, but upon closer inspection (plenum still on car) it appeared that they were a part of the original casting... Not so sure now??

Pic attached for reference.

As far as I'm aware, the injector sits hard up against that port, and is held their by the pressure of bolting down the rail.

The Id2ks don't go inside that port like a factory or jap brand injector.

Correct me if I'm wrong

The O-ring doesn't make contact with the manifold as the tip of the injector is too wide to even fit in a few mm, so i didn't think it was right. Pressure would just hold the plastic end cap down to that cast flat section, negating the need for an O-ring even, but would leak under pressure afaik??

Would love to hear from someone that has fitted a set of ID2000's to a standard plenum GTR!
