There is no sign of damage on that thread. So either a totally wrong size thread was supplied, and not noted by the installed, or it was not installed properly (ie adjusted out way too far).

Either way it is not a problem with the arm itself.

there is 2 threads there the one inside is the one that stripped the outer thread is still okay I can literally slip it on and off with it barley twisting

How far in was that thread when you fit the arms? Can you take a picture of inside the lower control arm and also where the camber arm is adjusted too along with your alignment print out?

Are they stock shocks? If so, why are you using a roll centre adjustment setup?

yeah no worries ill get all that tonight after I get the car home. they are still stock shocks coilovers were ordered a couple weeks ago but haven't arived as yet it was only just set up at the moment so that I could get it dynoed then get the coilovers in and get the suspension setup again

and the tread was about 2 turns out so basically nearly all the way in

Hmmmm still something suss going on man! They shouldnt just pull out OR the thread still would have been attached to the outer part.....

It wasnt cross threaded when you installed it?

that's what I though as well but it's like it just stripped the tip of the threads off its really weird. it defiantly wasn't cross threaded I check it all first.

I'm getting the print out sent to me now do you mind putting it up for me again?

Looks like to body of that shock has been damaged :(

coilovers should be in on Friday the stock shocks will be going in the bin with the rest of the suspension

got the car home today didnt get a chance to get it up on stands but pedders got the lower control arms out of the rear for me the amount of play in the threads even on the side that wasn't damaged is unbelievable

How that thread just slipped out of position without getting any obvious damaged is very strange. I need to see a better quality close up of the thread.

The thread engagment must have been so bad that tightening the lock nut up put the thread on the verge of just pulling stright out as it looks in the photo.
