hey people

here is some of the work I intend on doing to the gtr :

Turbo:

GSP T72 single turbo

braided oil feed and return

tial wastegate 50mm

custom T4 top mount manifold

bottom end:

CP forged pistons 87mm

CP rings

App H beam rods

ARP 2000 caps

ARP main studs

oil gallery reducer

Head :

Brian crower springs

Brian crower retainers

step 2 cams

triple layer head gasket

ARP head bolts

N1 oil pump

N1 water pump

cometic full engine gasket kit

nismo engine mounts

braided lines on the essentials

044 fuel pump

700cc injectors with top feed rail

apexi radiator

controlled via power FC

probably more to come but theses are the items ill be knocking off the list first

Heres a few pics of the last motor i build

turbocharged straight 6 ford Eb. I know its no skyline but this was a very basic engine to build . Its how I got the confidence to do all the work on the gtr32.

looking at these pics you get the idea off how clean the gtr motor will look when its ready to drop back in . only it will be bigger and meaner :)

Mate, do yourself a favour and don't put an N1 oil pump on there without at least putting billet gears in the pump .

I would hate to hear of another destroyed engine , especially a nice built one .

+1 Just had JPC gears put in an N1 on my 26. Worth the extra money for the piece of mind.

thanks for the advice guys and yeah its so worth upgrading the oil pump gears for an extra $400 cant go wrong :)

oh how I cant wait to get back on the road with this beast .

f*k yeah tyranus cant wait to be another single turbo gtr monster :)

stay tuned people ill get things going and fill you all in with the build thanks for the support :)

hey guys iv been flat out at work getting the money organised for the bottom end work to go ahead.

this week the block is off to get machined, the plenum is off to get polished and parts are starting to get ordered from the USA.

I hav'nt had much time to work on the car but this weekend i did manage to spend a few hard but worthy hours stripping the front end down to where I want to start this build from.

After 6L of degreaser and some serious scrubbing the engine bay looks amazingly clean . I was intending on painting the bay but probably wont bother, who knew that good paint was hiding under there :)

Heres a few pics for you people :)

What are you doing for sump options? Going to add an extension or something?

I highly advise putting a crankcase vent on the inlet side of the sump above oil level and plumb that line to your breather can. -12AN should be sufficient, otherwise you can run 2 x -10AN lines. It should be easy to do if you already have your sump off.

Dont want to see you have oil control issues and spray oil all over your freshly cleaned engine bay! It's the worst feeling when you have oil dripping out of every crevice!

I know that precision make good quality turbos but iv been looking at the new hurricane series of T4 turbos from turbonetics and am happy with the price and overall quality, response and look of their turbos .

I aim to hit in the high 300kw area power wise. and i know people will say with that setup it will be easy but iv never had a big powered Gtr and arnt sure what to exspect. all i know is it will be shit loads of fun :)

cant wait to get this on the street :)

So the block went off to engine solutions in airport west yesterday :)

I rock up there and Dario the head dude there is just slapping togeather a little Rb30 - 26 combo that caught my eye :) running custom methanol pistons manley rods and half the hks catalogue lol

So he took a look at the bore on cylinder #1 and said I have to run either 86.5 or 87 mm pistons because of the damage due to detination.

I have chosen 86.5mm CP pistons and eagle rod combo . Acl bearings and arp bolts. parts will take about 4weeks to get to my place and then straight to engine solutions as Dario will be doing the assembling of the motor.

cant wait going to be sick :)

Hey people,

been a while since iv updated this build thread but things are moving along strongly with my GTR32 build.

front end is all back together and been fully restored. Pulled apart everything and degreased , replaced and refitted what i couldnt re use.

a new intercooler and oil trans cooler went on with pro flow lines and fittings thanks to VPW parts.

I picked up a second hand Greddy single turbo intake that looks boss :) and iv purchased a stainless steal steam pipe manifold T4 top mount that will house my T72 turbonetics turbo that iv ordered from the USA.

Engine solutions in airport west currently has the block , and are machining and boring out to 87mm to fit the new CP pistons and Eagle rod combo that i'm buying in the next few weeks . they are also machining the head and fitting new valves springs and tomei cams for me.

once all the motor work is complete, i will tow the car and motor to Edge Motorwork's and have them drop it all in for me and do the tune.

going to be epic i plan to have the car back on the road for September and I really want do a road trip to world time attack in october .

hope everyone likes the work :)
