Wtb-Series 2 Stagea/rb25Det Neo 1997 Starter Motor

I'm chasing a starter motor to fit a 1997 nissan stagea with NEO rb25det manual/turbo AWD engine.

I tried one from a 2000 Stagea neo rb25det motor but the cog on the starter motor is too small,the cog is a different diameter to the one from my motor.

I'm at Brisbane but am happy to pay fair postage.

Need it asap as i'm using the car for work.

Strange, thought all RB25 starter motors are the same. I've got one out of R34 GTT RB25DET Neo $100 posted to you, can reach you as early as Tuesday.

Whats the serial number's on the silver sticker on yours?

This is the sticker on my original starter motor,it still works but makes a kind of horrible noise briefly after the the engine is running

it's the same noise you hear of you accidentally turn the key again after you've already started it.

The serial no's were completely different to this on the one from the 2000 rs4s engine.

I think serial numbers are meant to be unique...

It's the part numbers that you'd want.

The cog diameter on mine is 33mm & it has 10 teeth,brand is Hitachi,it doesnt have a part number stamped on it.

diameter on the 1999 rs4s starter motor cog is 26mm so it was too small & it only had 8 teeth

Try Bursons Automotive. Not sure if they are Australia wide, if not then you could go to your local Supercheap Auto and have them order it in for you if it's available. It most likely would be a reconditioned one.
