Hey guys, i have an r33 skyline, and have a rev hunting problem. it happens somtimes in the morning and somthimes at the lights. it usually clears it self up, but ocasinally i just tap the accelorator, and its back to normal, what could the problem be? Also i have around $1000.00 to spend on my car, and i am thinking of getting a set of twin dump pipes and a hi flowed cat, CES (custom exhaust systems) at Meadowbrook, in brissy have given me a quote for their custom double dump pipes and a hi flow cat fully installed $1005.00 trade, they tell me ill be ging around 20 to 30rwkw. Yes i know it sounds like bllshit, but i phoned APC at underwood and they confirmed they power increase, and said that with a turbo smart bleed valve, and a touch of boost, and a dyno tune which will cost $300.00 including the Bleed valve, will get me including the twin dumps, between 180 to 190rwkw, if thats true than ill know by next tuesday as im booked in for the lot. what do u guys recon?

i would of that at about 10psi and the exhuast u said, it would be more around the 160 to 170rwkw mark, but thats just from what ive seen, im probably wrong.

Sounds like porkies to me unless they are talking about Flywheel KW and not RWKW's thats the only way I can see you would that kind of power.

Also, get ya throttle body cleaned. Apparently the way R33 GTS/T pollution control works you end up with massive carbon buildup around the throttle body which ****s with idle.

Ive got 166.6 rwkw with cat back and pod filter..

standard boost, no front mount

Ill be getting the CES Split dump/front pipe soon, they make them really good

fark me, i got a pod, cat back and 10psi off bleed valve and i`d be shocked if i even had 150rwkw, might go get it checked out soon hey

Oh and depends HEAPS on what dyno you goto...

On one dyno we got 198rwkw then about 3 days later at the dyno comp, we got 165rwkw.

Thats a big difference between two dynos.

shit yeh, ive heard that can happen, my mate got 160rwkw in his rex on one, then 136 on another
