Tom Tom In R34

Hi,

I have bought a Tom Tom but when I plug it into the lighter socket it doesn't power up. It powers up in my other car but not in the R34 GTT. I thought it was the socket but when I push in the lighter it heats up as it should.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Probably just subtle differences in the shape of the socket. The tom tom charger probably isnt making contact with the live contact at the back of the socket.

So if you plug in a double adapter (that of course works), you may find that the Tom Tom connects properly from either socket.
