I've decided that whilst my car is getting sprayed, I need to start sourcing extra parts just in case shit blows up. Rather than do it piecemeal I may as well buy a front cut and have one spare of everything, and start rebuilding the engine. However, as the car is going to be mainly doing track work, I thought it might be an idea to buy an old track car as either a front cut or just buy it whole thing and cut it in half and keep all the good stuff.

Firstly, where can I look for a cheap 32GTR track car overseas (Japan I guess?). I'd like to keep stuff like fuel setups, brakes, dogbox, engine etc.

Secondly, who imports front cuts, or can source a car and do a few basic checks before chopping it up and sending it over?

Thirdly, is this a shitty idea? It seems good in my head but I'm sure I'm missing something.

Cheers.
