Reading through various threads, seems like there are a few dual fuel LPG converted M35's running around.

I would like to get some feedback from the M35 2.5l turbo owners who converted to LPG and have put some Km's on their engines.

There may not be any 3.5L NA conversions done as yet?

How much mileage have you covered?

What system? Vapour injection or Liquid and brand

What power level?

What mods?

Converted by?

Tuned by?

Tank size, total and useable?

Tank location?

cost before any rebates?

Cost after any rebates?

fuel economy city?

Fuel economy Highway?

any problems/notes on the conversion or improvements that could be made?

Would you recommend to somebody else?

Liquid Injection/JTG

Tuned @ 250awkw

converted by Seaview Gas

Tuned by Cihan @ Etuner

40L Torroidal(sp?) tank in the spare wheel well - 30-35L usable

Cost was $3800 I think...can't remember how much I got back in rebate. I think $1500?

City consumption was 20L/100km

Highway consumption is about 18L/100km

Everything was peachy until I removed the o2 sensor to accomodate the Wideband sensor. Everything went to shit after that - running too lean, switch over issues, etc.

Now that I know the cause of these issues, yes I recommend it if you do alot of K's. Just don't go SVI/Vapour crap,,,

Gee that consumption seems to be really high. With a/c on and in traffic I can accept 20 l/100, but 18 l/100 on the highway is a bit much?

How was it running before you removed the O2 sensor, how many km since LPG conversion and on the car in general?

Yeah its pretty high, much higher then what JTG claims (10% above PULP consumption).

Its about the same with Caltex eFlex, so 30% increase in consumption. On PULP I was getting 14-15L p/100 in the city.

It was running great before I removed the O2, that's when it was tuned @ 250awkw. After I removed the O2 and had the wideband fitted and went for a retune Cihan had to back off the tune significantly (in fact he told me not to go over 4k rpm!). It was lean as....

I had it converted in March 2010, apart from some small leaks/melted relay and removing the O2 sensor, its been ok. It runs without the O2 but no WOT for me...and switch over is a bitch.
