R32 GTr / Bathurst - Gibson cams

Hi Gents,

i have been offered a set of cams that are a direct copy of the cams used at Bathurst when Nissan Whooped all their asses. i do not know the actual sizes of the cams and in fact excuse my ignorance , who"s Gibson cams? The cams are a vast improvment over stock so i've been informed.Good for street and race?

The price of $1000.00 aust complete with springs ? 6 months old.Would i be better off with brand new 260 Tommies ?

Also does any one know where i can get info on cam removal and replacement,I am mechanically orientated but havent done this for some time , require a little step by step litterature or info as a basic guide .

I'm guessing they would be Gibson Engineering Race Cams (Fred Gibson=engineer/team owner of 92 Winfield GTR), so i'd be thinking they would be pretty good... maybe a bit harsh for street use though :

Im would imagine gibson motorsport keep the cam specs secret....

if that is true...how would you noe if your cams are of "gibson motorsport spec"?>
