Hey guys,

Was just wondering if the front sway bar from an r33 gtr would fit a gts/t?

I know they do for the rear provided you have the gtr brackets (bare with me, just been reading about it this afternoon). And what other provisions are needed to get it to actually fit?

What matter anyway? Whiteline bars are not expensive.

I have 24mm adjustable (set soft) in the rear, 24mm adjustable (set hard) in the front, on an R32. Springs are much softer than a lot of people's (being Kings low). The handling balance is;

a) much better than it was in the previous setup where I had the same rear bar and the stock, hollow 22mm front bar. That was a very oversteery setup.

b) much much better than the setup prior to that, which had the stock (~18mm?) rear bar and the stock, hollow 22mm front bar. That was a committed understeer setup.

From the above I would strongly suggest that just throwing random available bars at cars is a bad idea. You need to start with a known good combo of front/rear sizing (unless you're prepared to try a few different combos to work it out for yourself). And even then you need to have some adjustability to account for difference in springs, dampers, alignment settings, tyres etc etc etc between different cars. Hell, even the driver's preference for which end lets go first requires you be able to adjust to suit that.

You raise a good point there, my luck ran out when the front gtr sways didnt fit ill have to source something else, as i thought the gtr combo would have provided a balanced yet stiffer ride, not all too keen on having them as an odd pair haha. New to the whole sway bar setup, i guess adjustables would be a good start?
