Hi, Just took delivery of my Stagea and im not a fan of the decepticon style rear taillight assembly. Came across the attached photo and was wondering what brand it is and who can get them (group buy maybe??)

lol...i quite like my series 2 tail lights so i wouldnt want to cover them....but i get what you mean of the decepticon look lol.....would be interesting on where to get these from I would maybe consider one of these if i ever get sick of the way my stag looks

Hmmm good luck with that they are a very very rare "greens" mid wing the one in the picture is actually the one that is on my car now I have only ever seen about 4pics of them including mine and Mikes "the one above" . You can also get little covers that just the top of the lights

Cheers mate. No I've not, I really should I guess. I'll pull finger one weekend and get some proper snaps of it and write a list of parts. Basic run down, 25det neo, manual, 270rwkw.

Sounds the goods but has got me confused coz it appears to be a s1 from the rear and they did not come out with neo or manual only normal rb25 or 26 ? Interested ? Very good power fig

Sorry to hijack this thread btw sleek3 lol. It is S1 but I've transplanted the engine and gearbox to the neo manual. Plan is to retune with a few extra tickles to get to the 300rwkw mark and leave it at that.

Quick question what Ecu and wiring are you running with the conversion ,after doing it my self I know the standard wiring will not work with the neo comp so it's either a slice and splice wiring loom or a stand alone comp ? 300 is very doable with right mods but most get stuck at 280-290 I got a easy 338 on only 17psi good old e85 the plan is for a re tune and more boost and wi see if I can max turbo out may be 360 or more , then maybe turb swap to push bit higher but we will see dont like tooooo much lag , what turbo ya running

Running a Link G4 with a spliced loom. Yeah I'm not planning on making massive power for the Stagea, it's just a fun long trip car that'll hold it's own, and another toy for the collection. The 180 is the power whore. Turbo is a T04E, the particulars escape me atm. I'm unsure of why people hit the wall at that figure with the neo's in particular. My plan was to put some forged pistons in, put bigger injectors in and have a nudge at the 300 mark, maybe more if the tune will allow.

What had you done to get the 338?

    • Yeah - My key still does the chime thing. I followed the procedure but it didn't activate on the (identical) third set of keyfob that I had. I vaguely remember the alarm saying you can only pair two keys with it. Now that I've dug it up, it appears that you very much can pair keyfobs to the alarm system. (which are the fobs I use to unlock the car). I have successfully diverted the thread and can probably not use the OEM keyfob ever again unless I use the aftermarket alarm and attempt to pair the OEM keyfob to it. Which might just work, or not :D. I definitely used the nissan method and not the aftermarket alarm method.
    • What makes it worse is that Nissan made keys in the same style, for example R34 and Stagea, but they work at different frequencies or something like that. So they look the same but the remotes are not interchangeable. I learned that from some guy selling aftermarket blank keys.
    • Does your door chime work when you have the key in the lock and open the door? I've had that disabled because it's f**king annoying and it is one thing that messes with the pairing. Because now the car doesn't detect key in ignition anymore and the slide-key-in-and-out sequence does not trigger the pairing mode anymore. The service manual has a section on the various bits involved in doing the syncing. I presume it'll be similar between Stagea and R34.
    • Agree, but meh, I think is is based more on LOLS than actually apples to apples, like, who would have thunk a turbo 4 cylinder would not beat a NA 4 cylinder  I think with just basic N/A mods, like a exhaust and tune, it would be equal to the Mini in its current form, maybe I know my current 2.5 would "chop the mini" as the midrange now has a night and day difference in power delivery compared to the tuned 2.0, by around 20kwatw and 30nm from around 2k rpm "ish"....... I'm kinda hoping that they do a N/A build, either with the MZR 2.0 or with whatever they decide to use If I recall correctly they did talk about K swapping one a while ago
