I have BC's and they go pretty low

heres a link, mine is the white 33 down the page

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/84208-wheel-sizes-offsets-for-skylines/page-123

Looks great man! Awesome height! How do you find the handling on the BC's?

I really don't think your car needs lowering. It looks good as it is.

Are you talking about the rear being too high in terms of wheel gap or rear bumper off the ground. Cause i'd suggest, as others have, just getting a lip and rear pods.

Haha thanks man, i meant the wheel gap, gonna experiment with a front lip and pods and see how I go before changing coilys. Thanks mate!

Lol, as if you're worried about handling at that ride height...

Dude relax, you seem to be taking this topic so personally. The OP has heard what you've got to say and obviously disagrees, why is that a problem?

OP, if you want to lower your car to such an extreme then go for it. Just be aware (as I'm sure you are by now) that what the other guys are saying is correct, it becomes a pain in the ass to drive and lowering the car so much will affect the way the car handles in a negative way. I have got BC's, and I have had my car at a height close to R377's 33 for a couple of years. Not because I don't find it fkn annoying, but because I don't drive the car enough to be assed raising it back up. I've smashed my bumper so many times I've lost count, I'm just lucky that I know how to fibreglass and spray paint. I've also damaged my fenders and tyres from coming off the track and grabbing rubber, that's not so easy/cheap to fix. Every time I park my car, I try to park somewhere where I can turn left, because turning right scrubs my tyre on the inner guard lining. It's horrible and annoying and embarrassing and I hate it. I'll be rectifying it soon.

All in all, my advice to you is to not do it. You've got some nice suspension in there, and the car is already at a nice height, it looks good! It wouldn't be worth trading that just for a bit less height. But, if you want to do it then do it. BC's will get you there, and more. They handle well for what they are, but they aint no Tein's.

If you're referring practicality to the stance trend though, I'm afraid you know nothing buddy.

You dont go belly to the ground and expect to corner awesomely! How are race cars set up? They dont tuck rim.

You either want looooowwwww or you want perfect height for twisties. Yes there is a happy medium but what you are asking is ludicrous

Took that all in,everything that you say makes sense, gonna listen to you guys and stick to the teins i think haha. Plus doing a bit of research has lead me to a gtt lip that i really want, more low=bad for front lip.

Handling all the way <3

Thankyou for that buddy!

I was referring solely to the fact that low cars aren't meant to be practical, in response to people saying it wouldn't be good for a daily driver. Has nothing to do with handling.

In other words, if OP wants a low car, I'm pretty sure he realises it will be shit to get around in.
