So I need to get a UVP for my XT Forester so I can drive it down for an inspection to get it registered.

On the website it talks about an ibspection report but I dont quite understand what it is saying. It seems to say that if you want a UVP for more than a days duration you need to provide an old inspection report.

Is this correct?

I have no inspection reports unfortunately.

If you don't have an inspection report or if the car has been out of rego for more than 12 months, you are only supposed to be able to get a 0(1) day permit. Some people have talked their way into a long time.

The inspection report they ask for is if it failed but was not dangerous to drive, you can apply for a longer permit. And on the other hand, if it failed and was dangerous to drive, you can only get a single day.
