Hi SA,

This problem seemed to appear completely out of the blue. I recently had a jwt clutch and flywheel installed on my 03 v35, and everything was working alright until this afternoon. I was driving the car normally and then I noticed the gears seemed harder and harder to get into. To the point where I pulled over and bam! While running the car wouldn't go into gear at all.

While waiting for a friend to pick me up, I tried it starting it up and putting it into gear again, and it worked perfectly. So I drove it home and noticed the gradual degredation in the gear changes. It seems like when the car gets hot it refuses to go into gear.

Please help me out guys!

Luke

I popped the bonnet and checked the fluids, they're right under the "max" level marking.

you have to go under and look at the transmission to see it, and then unscrew the drivers side upper Allen key bolt hole and if oil comes out right away your good, if not then your low.

This is your trans, and the drain hole

This is the fill hole (shown on left side but its really on our right side)

I would suggest the seals are going in the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder.

I had the exact same symptoms - would be fine when cool then gradually get worse as the fluid heats up and thins out which allowed fluid to blow past the seals to the point where no gear can be engaged.

Problem could have been waiting to happen, just brought on by the heavier clutch.
