Hey Guys,

After months of racing with a slight bend in my 180sx's rear subframe i have finally found an auto a stagea one to put into it (more track).

My questions are;

Why it's out of the car are there any known weak points of the subframe (or LCA's) that i should weld some bracing onto?

Any parts i should re-build/replace?

It will have new rose jointed adjustable suspension arms (or second hand if anyone has some...) and will replace any bushes that are worn.

Should also hopefully have my rebuilt 2-way finished soon to go in it.

oh and will also be using solid offset bushes to fit it in

I'm buying a rolling shell for it and a few other nice bits and pieces so if anyone is after something let me know as i may have the part

Get yourself the plates from GKtech

Weld it in, and happy days. Will have an almost indestructible rear subframe.

some pics of where they go in that thread. Even know the Stagea subframe is 50mm wider, I reckon this will all fit as all the mounting points are the same as S14/S15

I doubt it, they haven't been out long and I can't recall anyone going that extensive with their subframe on a Stagea.

For the price they sell you don't have much to loose. I think you don't have anything to worry about personally. You could always compare to your old subframe and see if the mounting points are the same design/shape etc.
