i bought my gtt a while ago i have not known what exact injectors i have. i fitted a 3076r and type b cams, using a power fc. and when we went to tune i didnt no what injectors i have, but by already set numbers we assume they where 480cc, they were purple and said nismo on the side so we confirmed that. BUT. when researching the latency specs we cannot find anything at all. the injector on the side has a number 013 4608 we shows nothing when researching, now this car had work done at least 6 years ago including these injectors from what i know. Is it possible these are a old nismo injector that i cant find any information on. just need to know what this number represents, that there 480cc and what the latency times are. please help!!

thanks

Yeah he had some numbers but the car ran like shit when he set them in. Turns out he may have been right this whole time with the lag times because my maf is f**ked. So once I get the new one in it should all work out. Thanks anyway

I think what Jez meant by "The tuner will be able to work out the latency wen he is tuning" is that if the tuner knows what he is doing he will be able to work out what latency is correct by the way the car reponds when it is being tuned. What you do (with Nistune) is set the K value to give you the correct mixture when at moderately high loads (so that the latency is not significant) then, knowing that the K value is correct you go back to the light load/idle part of the map and fiddle the latency until you get the right mixtures there. Little details about setting the cells to zero and turning off O2 feedback have been left out of the above description. Whilst PowerFC and Nistune are not the same same, the process is similar.

    • Hey all, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.  I have a 2008 Japanese import V36 coupe with nav but without Bose. I bought one of those AliExpress android screens, which for the most part works really well.  The only thing that doesn't work is the air con controls (well sort of) and the factory reverse camera.  The AC can be controlled fine but it doesn't report the change in temp and mode to the screen, and the volume knob/other audio controls from the panel don't register on the learning app.  I am pretty certain that the problem is the difference in the head unit between base model (Nav but no Bose) 2007-2009 coupes and anything after 2009.  Mine is the one with the blue connector all the way to the right as seen in this forum post:  The reason I think this is there is one wire left over that doesn't fit anywhere on this head unit, or in the factory screen which also uses different connectors to more recent versions.  I've seen the upgrade from OWC, and have sent the guy a message on eBay but no response yet.  I also don't particularly need the whole kit, just *maybe* an adapter for this one cable.  Did anyone else here have the same problem, or have any insight about what I can do to get this working?  I have been in contact with the seller but all they seem to be able to do is ask for more pictures and videos. Minor edit to add:  I have been researching and found a screen on Aliexpress that actually specifies my head unit in the listing, so these things do exist.  I will contact the seller to see if the wiring adapters are interchangeable with other screens.   Thanks in advance!
