Not sure your weight figure is correct.

An ARX is 1780kg and an RX is 1680kg.

But if you want to lighten it have a look at changing Electric front seats or removing some of the electronics.

There are not many other places to loose weight as the subframe and suspension are all alloy, bonnet is alloy, boot is plastic composite.

On the upside, all that weight is near perfectly balanced on the chasis with 52% on the front axle and 48% on the rear.

Enjoy.

Nope, RX is awd, as is the RS.

Mine weighed in at 1670kg on the weighbridge at my work.

Considering a stock VE sedan is 1700kg, and even a fully loaded FPV ute is over 1800kg; I don't think there's much to worry about.

I know what I'd rather be driving in an accident.

Or any other time for that matter...

RS if you have triple gauges in the centre, RX if you don't. I think that is a safe measure, unless installed later, right guys?

Or plug in your VIN into something like epc data for the run down.

180sx: 1150kg and three times as powerful as your car.

You Jelly?

^ Yes, yes I am.

I put mine (RS) on the local weighbridge & it came in at 1800kg with me in it, after I had removed all the ususal suspects (spare wheel, tools, sub, mats etc.). All the lux adds weight, no doubt.

I'm not concerned though. This article on the weight of the R35 GTR gives me some peace. http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/kazutoshi-mizuno-nissan-gtr-interview-top-gear-2012-02-23?imageNo=1

With the right tyres, our cars handle better in torrential rain than most do in the dry.

Your in a wagon who cares for weight loss. Rip out your high flow vq and send it to me. That should save you a good 300 kg, take off your wheels and stick it up on blocks that will save you 100kg give or take. Take out your r35 gtr seats, bc's and swaybars and that should save another 50kg .So that will make you about 250 kg heavier than the 180 but you wont be moving far....

I care for weight loss funny man. That's why I started the thread.

But all you're going to end up with is a noisier, harsher, less pleasant car to drive.

And it might accelerate a poofteenth quicker, or save a bees dick of fuel?

If weight saving was your primary concern; why on earth did you buy a Stagea?

If you do anything to your car that displeases me; I may have to kill you.

Lol, jokes. :whistling:

But seriously; don't. ;)
