the tyres on it are massively shithouse ( don't buy Bridgestone s02's)

pretty bad understeer then oversteer

rear hicas needs locking

I said this on the first track day

After putting new rubber on the car I discovered one reason for the shit handling

The drivers side rubber was say 80% and in good nick but the passengers side was about 30% and a lot older( as in starting to crack as sht), this explains the massive oversteer on right handlers and good grip on lefties

First thrash of the new rubber and the car is much better

Even though I like to grab Neil's bony arse

I don't like men. So no ls1 ghayness

I wasn't going to give you an LS1... But Twin -7s on mine would be nasty... And I'm at the "Build the exhaust manifold" stage... :P

Awesome fit. Any rubbing???

Why a T04Z? What other supporting mods will you do, if any?

Car is almost stock height so no dramas... If it was lower the rears would need rolling

Was well priced

Supporting mods will be a r34 n1 motor( head gasket, pon cams and some injectors) and a e85 tune

Ill put some fancy oil in it so I have something to talk about at the pub

People say they are a little leggy... Mind you I have never been under 4500 rpm at the track

I have a set of hks Ss turbos in the shed I could slap on if I wishTo ladie boy

Pretty wheels on tidy R33 GTR... you've changed!

You know it

Looks tuff very nice

Still going e85?

Yea still Going e85

Just picked up the surge and pumps

Surge tank done

i asked for a quick drain valve on it as well so i can flush the e85 if it sits for two long

see if this work

    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much

    • 😜 hopefully we get this instead of a new R36 GTR due to recent financial problems at Nissan. Nismo to sell a complete kit with RB26 and driveline. All starts making sense (ok maybe not) once the Nissan Leaf's (Leaves?) with stuffed EV motors/batteries hit the market cheap
