Servicing in South Melbourne

can anyone recommend any service garages in the south melbourne area?

If you just want your basic servicing go to Ultratune on city road. They guy that runs them is called shane. Absolutely the nicest guy you will ever meet. I blew the transmission in my Silvia (which has since been sold) and he gave me the keys to the ultratune ute for 3 days while they fixed it at no cost. They have workedon plenty of imports including my skyline

cheers for that. checked them out, shane's the owner but doesnt work there anymore.

not sure if this is a bad sign, but the guys there didnt know how many cylinders an rb20 had..?

I'd suggest that is a rather bad sign. Usually expect as a minimum that my mechanic knows how many cylinders the car has!! :Bang:

Anyone have any good servicing joints for Skylines, is there anyone in melbourne who "specialises" in Skylines?

The guy that used to own my car had it serviced at South melbourne Mechanics. Thats all i know about them, but if youre stuck you might want to check them out.
