Door Lock Barrel Loose

Hey all,

My drivers door lock barrel has always been a little loose but lately has gotten to the point that it has twisted the plastic cover off the top.

I imagine that there would be a simple clip to secure the barrel to the door or similar.
If anyone has come across similar problems and can let me know before I start taking the door apart.

The door lock mechanism is held by two bolts but to get to them you need to remove door inner liner and the door window glass. Its been a few years since I put my lock cylinder in but from memory I don't think you can access it without removing the window glass. A bit fiddly but not that difficult. The lock cylinder can only be removed /tightened from the inside. Good luck

Thanks, good to know before hand that I will need to remove the glass as I would not have allowed for that.
