Hey guys and girls. I've got a 25GT (non-turbo), had it since October last year and things have been running beautifully up until the last couple of months. Back in the start of March I was getting pretty intense misfires which turned out to be because of a faulty coilpack, due to money issues at the time I couldn't afford to replace all 6 so I only replaced #5 (the faulty one) and kept on going from there. Yesterday I started getting misfires again, not as bad as they were before and generally only noticeable when the engine is pretty hot or around 10-15 mins or so of driving, even then they aren't as bad as before.

I've run into a bit of money lately and just wanted some advice about coilpacks. I've heard that Splitfires are the way to go but since I haven't got a turbo I didn't know whether or not the difference is negligible or just straight up not worth the money I end up spending. Obviously if they just can't be beat I don't mind buying them since I can definitely afford to now, but if there are cheaper options available I'd prefer to buy them instead if the Splitfires will just be wasted in my engine. I'm not sure what information people will want before answering me but I'm happy to reply with whatever you need to know. :)

Thanks!

Yellow Jackets Coil packs are an excellent alternative. Ive ran these in 2 cars now over the last 4 years and they have worked flawlessly.

You can get them for around $400 from a trader here on SAU called Performance-Wise.

Heres their site: http://performance-wise.com/userimages/procart28.htm
