S1/s2 Front End/light Swaps

Hi everyone, I'm looking at buying a S2 RS4S in a few months time and I was wondering what the differences are in the panels and reo. I'm asking because I prefer the series two body and driveline, but I would rather the s1 lights and grill. Is it a straight swap of lights and grill or is it a case of swapping everything forward of the a pillars to series one items?

Hey Matt, welcome to the forums.

It's been done before, and it will require a change of panels, bonnet and front bumper, as well as the lights.

There should be a thread about it, do a search for "series 1.5" or something similar in this part of the forums.

Thanks mate, I've had a fairly good look around both before and after I posted this and still haven't found anything. Maybe I'll just deal with it and see how I go wen I get it, might grow a bit fond of the s2 front. I briefly considered buying an s1 and a trying to get hold of an s2 front end write off for the interior and engine/manual trans but I'm sure I could spend that amount of money much more wisely.
