Ford Territory Help

[Stromulux]

I've just changed the globe in the tail light of my mrs territory and now the boot wont stay shut, the latch wont engage. I've removed the light and replaced it but that hasnt made a difference. I have no idea what the go is, i went no where near the latch at any stage.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreceated

Hahaha yeah it wouldnt be my first choice, mind you after selling my r32 and 180 i am now driving an ss ute so maybe i'm not one to talk!

I am still after some help tho, any one, any ideas??

id say most of the guys here are into imports (!)

is there a ford forum you can ask on? ps have you had the ball joints replaced under warranty yet?

Because I joined while I had an import, because its a car forum, because a whole lot of the guys here have daily drives, because I've received great help from people here previously, because there are a whole lot of people here with great technical knowledge... You're right tho, terrible place for me to ask a car question.

I did want to ask on a Ford forum Steven but I didn't know my Mrs login details so I asked the question on two forums I was a member of, sorry again to have put you out with that deano!

And yeah we did manage to get the ball joints replaced too. It's unlike Ford to bugger up cars hey haha!

ha ha! i hear what your saying but yeah, give a ford forum a shot as your problem might be a common one, i personally dont know of anyone who is into imports and would have (for instance) a territory as a daily. . . unless they are masochists! :-)

The latch hasn't gone into the closed position? Maybe try pulling the release. Had this happen before on other cars

Hahaha trust me mate it wouldn't have been my first choice! It does the job tho I guess, fits the dog in the back seat which was all but impossible in the 32 or 180 and it hasn't rolled over going around a round about!
